Community Garden Beds

Every year we rent out twenty garden beds at our Lincoln Hill site to neighbors in Twin Towers to grow and harvest their own produce. If you’re interested in renting one of these garden beds please contact us.

Educational Visits

We offer engaging educational tours for groups of all ages. Visitors learn about urban land stewardship, neighborhood engagement, urban farming, and sustainable agriculture practices. If you would like to set up a farm visit please contact us.

Backyard Gardens

Our Backyard Garden Program empowers families to start tending their own garden. The program allows food insecure residents to grow healthy and sustainable food in their yards and share what they’re learning through weekly workshops. If you’re interested in this program, please get in touch.

Preschool Education

We partner with The Glen at St. Joseph to offer gardening and natural science curriculum to the 3-5 year olds living there. Through a variety of fun activities, these students in Twin Towers learn about physics, chemistry, biology, geology, and more.

Neighborhood Food Council

The Neighborhood Food Council is made up of our neighbors in Twin Towers who have a special interest in gardening and increasing food security. As NFC members, they advise Mission of Mary Cooperative on better ways of using the resources we have available to address the needs of our community. NFC members meet once a month, and meetings involve discussions, educational opportunities, tours, and social events.
