Internships
The Mission of Mary internship program isn’t designed to be just a bullet point on your resume. It is real-life experience that is focused on meeting tangible needs through hard work and dedication. Our interns are driven, disciplined, and willing to get their hands dirty to further the mission of loving our neighbors. Our interns are a vital part of our mission and work and they help make our programs possible.
Mission of Mary interns get the opportunity to work directly in urban agriculture and community engagement. We strive to build a dynamic team of passionate individuals who want to be a part of creative solutions to urban issues facing East Dayton. We offer a space for interns to gain valuable knowledge about urban ecosystems, place based non-profit programing, and best practices in sustainable urban agriculture.
Interns can become an integral part of the Twin Towers neighborhood by participating in:
◼ Neighborhood events
◼ Educational Workshops
◼ Volunteer events
◼ Urban Farming
◼ Backyard Garden program
◼ Community Garden program
◼ Native land restoration
◼ Farm Stand & Retail Sales
